Q: Where are you based?
- A: I am in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and willing to travel to different cities within Canada.
Q: Can I purchase a gift certificate for a special someone?
- A: Yes you can! Gift certificates are available for purchase either in box set or paperless form. It will be the best gift ever for all type of events, including baby shower, birthday, Valentine's day, anniversary, engagement and wedding! More info here!
Q: Do you shoot film?
- A: Not any more. All my work is now done in digital. Digital photography gives great flexibility to achieve unique feel and quality for each photograph.
Q: Are you available on weekdays or weeknights?
- A: Yes I am. Please contact me for specific date and time.
Q: I am not natural/comfortable in front of the camera, what can you do?
- A: My style is candid and most photos on my website were not staged/posed. I can also shoot from a longer distance so that you get a bit more personal space.
Q: Do you work for free?
- A: I may provide free service for a charitable organization.
Q: I am interested in hiring you as my photographer, but my wedding is not going to be held in Ottawa.
- A: Anywhere in Canada you want me to be, however, you will have to pay for accomodation and travel cost
Q: How much is travel cost for Toronto or Montreal?
Q: What is the payment required for booking a wedding?
- A: You pay 1/2 when you book. The rest of the outstanding balance must be paid 14 days before your wedding day.
Q: Is my payment refundable?
- A: No. Once your wedding is booked, you secured the date and I can no longer accept other work. If you decided to hire someone else, your payment is forfeited and cannot be used toward other of my services.
Q: What if my wedding is postponed?
- A: If I am available on your new date, we can change it. However, price is subjected to change because rates are different based on high/low season and calendar year.
Q: What if I cannot afford my payment?
- A: If this is your final payment and you chose a more expensive package than the base package, we can agree on a lower package so that your final payment is smaller. It might mean fewer hours coverage or an album size reduction.
Q: I cannot decide if I want to go with a higher package which either includes digital files or a photo album.
- A: In this case, you should just go with the base package and decide to purchase later. However, price will change based on my suppliers, and prices usually go up and rarely go down.
Q: Do you shoot video as well?
Q: How soon will I see my photos after my wedding?
- A: Within three weeks for sure. If I am not busy, you should see them in a week.
Q: Is your price negotiable?
- A: I think my 8 hours base coverage price is very reasonable and there is no room for discount.
Q: I would like to hire you to photograph my new born baby. However, my baby is very sensitive to flash light, so can it be done without any flash light?
- A: Yes. It can be done with ambient/natural light only given that your room has some natural light during a few hours of the day.
Q: How much is travel cost for Toronto?
- A: I travel to Toronto once every few weeks or so. So if we can arrange a time during my stay in Toronto, there will be no travel cost to you. $400 minimum spending is required
Q: I am not sure if I would have a good experience being photographed.
- A: It will be fun and relaxed. You will not be forced to pose. It will be done in a candid style and my goal is to capture your uniqueness, beauty, happiness and emotions during our two hours photo session
Q: What kind of animals did you work with before?
- A: Cats, dogs, bunnies, guinea pigs and hamsters. I would love to work with other animals, as long as they are safe to be around with.
